This is a personal solo adventure that took me to 25 countries overland by scooter. Under the moniker “The Wandering Wasp”, I create contents that reveal on the ground aspects of countries hardly shown by mainstream media. One kilometre at time, I break stereotypes and mental barriers, celebrating diversity of the world. From concept development to post-production, I handle every aspect of video creation.
I transformed my vision of a connected world into an online presence through social media, website and collaborations with other content creators e.g. Dear Alyne, Eva Zu Beck. With launch of an online store, I was able to draw side revenue as a content creator.
The Result
The self-shot and produced video “The Wandering Wasp in a Nutshell” has more than 1.9 million views and was selected for three film festivals. This travel vlog has garnered more than 90,000 followers across different platforms. I have been engaged to speak at more than 20 events in 4 countries.
